RCVH provides for a full range of services for dogs, cats, small mammals, and even backyard chickens! Please Contact Us if you
have any special requests. Wellness RCVH takes a personalized approach to preventative care. We prefer to assess each pet's individual risk before recommending a custom tailored vaccination schedule. For example, many of our vaccines are recommended only every 3 years as opposed to the more traditional view of annual vaccinations. Surgery River City Veterinary Hospital can perform numerous surgeries that your pets may need over his/her lifetime. At least one of our Veterinarians is performing surgery any given day of the week Monday - Friday so that we can accommodate your scheduling needs. In addition to enhancing the recovery from a routine spay, or neuter, our surgical laser allows Dr. Anthony O'Sullivan to perform some of his favorite, more intricate, procedures including correction of stenotic nares and elongated soft palates. Dental With the help of an advanced dental procedure unit and advanced training, our Veterinarians can pursue their passion of improving your pet's dental health faster, and often with less pain, than more traditional dental equipment allows. Diagnostics Thanks to state of the art diagnostic equipment such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory, RCVH can provide you and your pet with same day results when they are in need. We can also schedule advanced imaging procedures such as Echocardiograms with Dr. Ed Martin, of Richmond Veterinary Ultrasound Services, on a biweekly basis. Senior Health Care At River City Veterinary Hospital, we recognize that senior pets may have special needs. We strive to offer all encompassing treatment options, including diet and supplement recommendations as well as arranging acupuncture and chiropractic care. We strive to stay current with all the latest treatment options involving geriatric care. Soon, we will be offering on site therapeutic laser services to augment our traditional treatment of osteoarthritis! |
