Dr. Caitlin Callahan - Veterinarian

Dr. Caitlin Callahan grew up in southern New Jersey and earned her undergraduate biology degree from Ursinus College outside Philadelphia.

She went to vet school at St. George's University, and then completed her clinical year at NC State in 2018. She joined River City Vet in Summer 2025. Dr. Callahan has a strong interest in dentistry, dermatology, senior dogs, and individualized preventative care. She is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care and is excited to join the team at River City Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Callahan lives in Glen Allen with her husband and two toddlers. In her free time outside the clinic, she enjoys running, hiking in the Charlottesville area, and visiting all the local coffee shops and breweries.
