Dr. Katie McCauley, born and raised in Richmond, earned her undergraduate degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech and then attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison for her veterinary degree.
She enjoys working with all animals from dogs and cats to ferrets and bearded dragons.
Dr. Katie started working at RCVH as a kennel assistant/veterinary assistant during her vet school breaks and is excited to be back as a veterinarian.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she can be found spending time with her two rescue beagles Millie and Mable as well as her sister and mom and their many rescue mutts. She also enjoys swimming, reading, and watching Nationals baseball.
