Our Doctors

Dr. Anthony O'Sullivan
Dr. Anthony O'Sullivan has been serving the Richmond, Virginia area since 2005. He started RIVER CITY VETERINARY HOSPITAL in 2014 in order to provide a personal treatment experience for our animal friends and their caretakers.

Dr. O'Sullivan graduated from Loyola University in Maryland and St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a clinical year at the  University of Illinois. Dr. O'Sullivan's special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasonography.

During his free time, Dr. O'Sullivan enjoys spending time with his wife, children, two cats, and two dogs. Occasionally he will work in kayaking, running, weight training, golfing, and traveling to Ireland as well!

Dr. Heather O'Sullivan
Dr. Heather O’Sullivan, a native of Savannah, Georgia, moved to Richmond in 2006 after graduating from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. Before graduation she did a year of clinical rotations at the North Carolina State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. While enjoying all aspects of medicine, she has a special interest in both dermatology and dentistry and a growing interest in backyard flock medicine. Dr. O’Sullivan has practiced in the West End of Richmond for the last 8 years until her new adventure with RIVER CITY VETERINARY HOSPITAL.

Despite a full life with a new hospital and a growing family, Dr. O’Sullivan stays active in the Richmond community by serving on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Richmond K9’s. This position has allowed her to help both the human and canine officers of the Richmond K9 unit that serve our city. When she isn’t working or fulfilling her duties to FORK9, Dr. O’Sullivan enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and learning the sport of archery.
Dr. Anthony and Dr. Heather O'Sullivan
Heather and Anthony met in veterinary school and were married in 2006 just after graduation. The Dr’s O’Sullivan have two small children, Aiden and Claire and several four legged kids. These four legged kids - cats Milo and Bitsy, Labrador Logan and Coonhound Shelby – can be seen in photographs all around the hospital.

Dr. Lee Ann Jones
Dr. Lee Ann Jones, born and raised in Richmond, and earned her undergraduate degree from Mary Baldwin College.  She has been serving the region's companion animal community since graduating from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.  Her medical interests include pain management, preventative medicine, and public health.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Jones enjoys biking, raising chickens, and backpacking with her husband.  She is delighted to be joining the compassionate and dedicated staff at RIVER CITY VETERINARY HOSPITAL.

Dr. Angela Graham
Dr. Angela Graham, originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, where she studied biology, and worked in the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, as a lab assistant in parasitology. She then headed up north to attend Ohio State University for veterinary school. Dr. Graham then moved to Richmond, and has been serving the area since. Her interests include preventative care, ophthalmology, and dermatology.

In her down time, Dr. Graham enjoys spending time with family and traveling. You can also find her in the evenings taking care of, and riding, her horse, Lefty. Dr. Graham has ridden horses her whole life, and this passion for all animals is what drove her to become a veterinarian. She is very excited about joining the team and providing the care and attention that is well known at RIVER CITY.

Dr. AJ Ereio
After deciding to sell his own practice, Dr. AJ Ereio joined the RIVER CITY VET family in the Fall of 2017. Dr. E holds a degree in theology from the University of Virginia and earned his Veterinary degree in 1996 from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Richmond soon after and has been working with Richmond's families and their furbabies ever since.

Dr. E enjoys taking a collaborative approach to pet health care with his clients. He holds a special interest in dentistry and has extensive specialized training in the field. On his days off, he enjoys spending time with his family, and their menagerie of cats (plus one dog who thinks she's a cat). He loves camping, xbox, and is addicted to zombie novels.

Dr. Molly Miller is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee University and attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. After veterinary school she competed an internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. She moved back to Virginia to be closer to her family and to escape the winters in the Northeast.

Outside of work, Dr. Miller spends most of her time chasing her mischievous toddler, and also cares for a rescue beagle and two elderly kitties.  She also enjoys running, and cooking (mostly) healthy meals for her family.
